With RAJAR’s latest data showing that Brits are discovering podcasts in increasing numbers (up to 8.4 million listeners in 2019 from 6 million in 2018), there’s no better time to explore the wonderful world of podcasts. We spoke to podcast listeners to find out what they are listening to, when, where and why they are listening, before delving into their thoughts on podcast advertising and sponsorship, as well as engagement and post-listening behaviours. Using our inhouse panel, Panelbase, we quizzed listeners in an online quantitative survey about all things podcasts.
