Some of us start to feel a bit miserable at this time of year when the weather’s a bit chillier, so we wanted to cheer things up with a newsletter about comedy. The research has had two focus points: perceptions of comedy programmes on TV in the UK, particularly how British comedies compare with those from the US; and the ways in which people choose their comedy sources.
